Spring

We have finally had some great spring weather. I better post this tonight becuase I think it is supposed to snow tomorrow! So we have been doing all things spring - planting, picnics, scooter riding, yard work, BBQing, park going and so on.

Desert Camping

We love camping! We camped just one night out at one of Cory's races this weekend. When I first witnessed this racing 'village' of campers a couple years ago I thought they must be crazy and wasn't sure how my husband managed to get into this sport. Well, now I'm kind of one of them although I still don't think I blend quite right - not that I want to :) So here we are camping at our first race, in the middle of the desert, burning man style.

Brock had the great idea to scoot down this hill on his bottom to make a track for his truck. By the end of ou trip he was riding his trike down the hill.

Our camp was a few yards from this dirt hill where all the kids were playing. I mean really - what could be more entertaining than a big dirt hill? Brock would announce, 'Mom, I'm gonna go play with my friends' and then run off. They played for hours and hours!

Catch Up

We stayed close to home this weekend. The weather was just gorgeous - rainy, cold, windy beautiful April weather-uuggghhh. I see some 70's in the forcast so I'm trying to stay positive! We got the camper ready for camping...new tires and all. I did some laundry - where does all the laundry come from? We did some SERIOUS baby proofing. Theo is full speed ahead and enjoying his new freedom. He also got his first tooth which kept him up at night this last week. We are gearing up for a VERY busy and VERY fun summer - lots of weddings, trips, camping, and so on...I'm exhausted just thinking about all the fun to be had! Hope you enjoyed that random paragraph of information...

Aces vs. Wolfpack

Our local baseball team played UNR this week in the Aces stadium. We went with some friends and had a blast! Let's just say (the mascots) Alphie, Wolfie and Archie in one place = Brock heaven! He spent the entire time looking for them, visiting with them, hugging them and shouting at them from across the stadium. I felt bad for the people sitting in front of us...although they too seemed to be entertained by Brock's obsession too.

I didn't have my camera handy for this picture, but this really nice lady took it and emailed it to me! Brock loves wearing his hat, 'like the catcher' - he wore it backwards to school today.
