Another House Project

5 years later and we are still doing house projects! I suppose it never ends, especially when your house is 50 years old. This was a great one...cement along the side of our house to the back yard. This side of the house was always hard to maintain - so this solves that problem. The weather has been beautiful for weeks - highs in the 60s which allowed us lots of time to work outside on this project. We now have tans and back aches too! Brock has been anticipating the arrival of the cement truck for about a week now!

WOLF! PACK!

If you pay any attention to college football you will know that UNR had the best season in our lifetime! We joined 34,000 other UNR fans in San Francisco last week to cheer them on in the Kraft Bowl and it was AWESOME! Can you imagine SF FULL of people walking around in their wolf pack gear, chanting WOLF-PACK on the muni, a hotel full of fans, ATT park SOLD OUT with Nevadans and winning a bowl game? It was incredible to be a part of that scene. We took the kids and one of the highlights was Theo's ESPN debut! ATT park has a mini baseball field for kids to play in and our kids were the only one's playing. The ESPN camera crew came over to film them and, of coures, our little Theo came right over to the camera, looking in it and touching it (they were holding it at kid level). Moments later I started getting texts and phone calls from our friends who saw Theo on ESPN! I'm told he got a good 15 seconds of air time...pretty cool! Brock had nothing but fun (our kids LOVE to travel). He loved riding the public transportation and was yelling wolf pack with the best them. He chanted wolf pack the whole way up the stadium! Brock loved the mascots as usual and was yelling at Alphie from our seats like they were old friends-which they are of course.

Other highlights from our SF trip - Fishermans wharf and visiting with old friends Allison, Lani, and Topher - love you guys! AND my parents met us at the game - they are real UNR fans now! Sadly, I'm having technical issues and only have a couple pics...

Happy New Year!

Ringing in the New Year with some friends and illegal sparklers...can't beat that! 2010 was an amazing year for us and 2011 is shaping up to be even more fun! Hope yours is the same.

We went up to Cory's jobsite (also a popular sledding destination) to play and sled. Brock liked being thrown into the snow...not suprising! And also not suprising that his Dad thought of this activity.

For the last few months Cory has been in charge of building this Fire Station. It is just about done...another amazing accomplishment.

The boys plowing snow...this was more exciting than sledding.
