Slope Style

The last few weeks have been filled with snowboarding and skiing!  I signed the boys up for a junior ski program this year.  Due to a lack of snow we started late, but have had some awesome, warm spring skiing.  The boys would have morning lessons while Cory and I helped teach.  In the afternoon we ski as a family and try to keep up with the boys!  I can't believe how quickly they picked it up.
I seriously don't have any pictures of Brock because he is so fast on his snowboard!!!!  When I saw him catch air coming out of the mini half pipe it was confirmed...he is just like his dad!!!
It has been so much fun for us to watch them improve each week and love the sport.
First day!
Up the bunny hill.  He was up on the big lifts by the afternoon!
The boys lasted all day on the slopes which shocked us.  The car rides home are nice and quiet:)
On the last day they had a Kid Fest with a race course.  Theo rocked it!

Aloha

We are one lucky family - 2 trips to Hawaii within a year! This time we decided it may become an annual winter tradition and that one week is NOT long enough in paradise. Sometimes the worst timing of a trip can mean the best trip. We were both absolutely drowning with work, turning over our rental house, and Brock was back in school. When we finally landed in Hawaii it was such a relief, we have never appreciated a vacation that much. Cory's mom planned this trip and we met his brother and sister with their families there. It was so fun to just hang out with them each day.
We pretty much did the same thing each day - went to a beach, snorkeled, beach combed, tide pooled, surfed and boogied. Then when the beach got windy in the afternoon we would head to the pool. I know rough life we have :) The boys were in heaven the entire time and sad when we left.
