Alaska!

Why, you are thinking, would we venture to the far north in the middle of winter when most people are fleeing to Hawaii? For a very good reason - Nikki (Cory's sister) got married...in Alaska...in the middle of winter...on a frozen lake...of course! It was a week of cold Alaska fun and celebrations. Congrats Nikki and Colter - we love you both so much.

Making Jello with Nana. Theo you are an imp!

Gross!

Eating some meat with Papa J!

Brock looks forward to seeing Poppy (Nana's bird). Brock was so sweet with her! Sadly, I think our visit was a bit too much excitement for Poppy (who we think was about 13 years old). She passed away while we were there :( Rest in piece Poppy girl.

Love that grin!

Cousin Carlee was so nice to let Brock use her sled.

Getting towed by the quad...Brock could have done this all day and NEVER complained about being cold. He takes after Cory! I took a turn driving the quad and he kept complaining that I was going too slow...yes, definately takes after Cory!

Cousins...Carlee and Theo! Theo on the other hand is not a big fan of the cold like his mother :)

Ice fishing! Brock was obsessed with ice fishing. Papa J and Cory cut a hole in the ice which was about 2 ft thick. No fish, but lots of fun!

Theo and Moby in their wedding attire.

There was an awesome view of Mt. McKinley on the day of the ceremony. The Ceremony was down where you see Brock standing in the Lake in front of Nana's cabin in Willow, AK. It was really awesome! The reception was the following night at the Hilton in downtown Anchorage.

Gorgeous bride!

View of downtown anchorage from our room.

The hotel lobby had two huge bears on display - very alaska like!

Swimming in the hotel pool - no pool goes un-swum (is that a word?) in Brock's world.

The boys finally passed out on our last plane home! Until we hit the worst turbulence EVER coming into Reno! I'm quite certain Cory will never fly again!
