Summer Time Fun

Summer arrived late, so we are soaking in all sun and heat we can handle - it will be gone before we know it. We pretty much live in our back yard! Our pool is tiny, Theo loves it and Brock finds ways to make it more fun (and dangerous) by sprinting across the yard and skidding head first in to it or putting his slide in and going down every which way. We also have a bull frog in the hood who enjoys a swim. Brock became so obsessed with the frog we finally had to hide him away in the garden - it was his only chance of survival. We have done lots of beach time at Tahoe and Donner and even made a trip to the water park. Despite oodles of sunscreen both the boys have golden tans, looks like they take after us. We love summer!

Alaska

We just got back from a week in Alaska! This was Theo's first trip and Brock's second. 24hrs of sunlight, non-stop playing, visiting, partying, fishing, cabin-ing, traveling = one tired family! It wasn't possible to squeeze any more fun into this trip! As usual, the boys were perfect travelers and recieved compliments after our flight.

Look at that view! I see a fight over the window seat in the near future!

Randomly, we were on the same flight to Seattle with our best friends! They were headed for an Alaskan cruise...Brock and Annie were great little travelers.
The first stop was Nana's cabin on Crystal Lake. It was so beautiful! Things we did at the cabin: eat, fish, work, wade in the water, capture fish and 'blood sucking leaches', paddle boat, wake board, just goof around!

Second stop, the Cropper cabin - eat, visit, play! Brek, Brock and Case are all about the same age.

Next stop, uncle Chad and aunt Holly's and cousin Carlee's house - riding lawnmower, bobcat, ride in the troll, playing with Stinky (the GIANT goat), playing with Carlee.

Next stop, Glorioso house - Brock, Adrianna and Mia had SO much fun!

Other random fun: Brock catching 7 rainbow trout!, playing with Nana's pets (I'm sure they were SOOOO glad when we left), sand box, celebrating Nikki and Colter's engagement - next stop to AK will be the wedding - Yippee!, hanging out with Nana and Papa J, getting a tour of the downtown fire station with God Father Nick :)

THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR YOUR HOSPITALITY!!!!
