Thomas!

Well, buying tickets to a Thomas the Train Live show was quite the shift from the tickets I'm used to buying...cool concerts, professional sports, etc. And yes, they were about the same price :) But it was worth every penny because Brock and his friend Owen were THRILLED to see Thomas in person! They were totally entertainded for almost two hours. Brock kept screaming, "Hi Percy", "Hi Thomas" - it was too funny! The added bonus is that Owen and Kelly went with us. Of course, I love hanging out with Kelly, but the boys have an absolute blast together too!

Running through the hallways hand in hand during intermission!

14 Weeks

We had two appointments last week. We heard a strong heartbeat and saw little baby moving all around already - looks like another active child - we are good at making those :) So far everything looks great!

Full body!

Just my cute little face!

Two Belly Buttons

I really need to start writing down the hilarious tales of Brock. I often forget them soon after they are told, but this one is unforgettable...

Today we were changing out of our bathing suits after swim class in a busy bathroom(yes, you know where this is going). I set my bra right next to Brock on the bench. He pushed it towards me and said, "No, I don't want that...that goes on your two belly buttons".

Needless to say, I (and the mom next to me) got a big laugh out of that. Breasts have been called a lot of things, but being compared to two belly buttons might just be the worst! By the way, Brock does know the correct name for this piece of anatomy, but today they were belly buttons!

Big Kids

I'm totally plagiarizing a post my friend Kelly did last week, but I couldn't resist - it was too cute! These are some then and now pics of our precious kiddos. We like to spend the weekends catching up with friends. Now that these kids are older they actually have true friendships. They get so excited to see each other and give each other hugs and kisses.

Owen and Brock at just a couple days old!

The big boys now. We spent last Saturday with Owen and Kelly - the boys and moms had a blast.

Brock(6 months) and Annie(couple weeks old)

Brock and Annie now! We have been friends with Lindsey and Jeff for over a decade now - yikes! Brock and Annie will both become big siblings in 2009!

Snow Bunny

We took Brock skiing for the first time! He wasn't so sure about it, but he did great for his first time. The major problem with teaching him is that WE don't ski! Cory and I both snowboard, but we are thinking we will need to get on skis in order to really teach Brock. Brock enjoyed going up the magic carpet lift, but his favorite was just running around the lodge looking cute and flirting with everyone - typical snow bunny :)

Having snacks with Rowdy and Sawyer after a long day of skiing.

A New Baby!

Many of you have already heard...we are expecting baby number two! We told the grandparents a couple weeks ago and once you do that all bets are off for keeping things hush. My mom was totally on to our secret after observing my picky eating patterns and passing on the wine - both of which are NOT like me at all!

Once again we feel totally amazed at the miracle of life and blessed to have another baby on the way! Baby is 11 weeks old and due July 28th. I have been feeling exhausted and nauseous, but I'm starting to feel much better! With Brock I didn't have an ounce of nausea, so I suppose I must do my time. I have to say, this week I feel like a new woman! I got off sooooo easy compared to some moms so this is not meant to be complaining in any way!

The Belly Report: My belly is bigger today at 11 weeks than I was at 20 weeks with Brock...it is a little hard to hide!!!! My Dr. said that is typical of a second pregnancy, but it is still a little disturbing - okay, a lot disturbing :)

The Big Brother Report: Brock is a little young to understand the whole thing at the moment. We told him there is a baby in Mommy's belly. He looks and asks, "In your belly button?" and then he tells it, "Come out!". I asked him if he would like a little baby like Jack (his friends new baby brother) to come live in our house and he says, "Yes, I want a baby Jack". It is all very sweet! He is going to be a great big brother.

We will keep you posted on the new bean!

First ultrasound, these were both done at 9 weeks. Can you believe there are already tiny arms and legs...incredible!
