Kauai

We just got back from an amazing trip to Kauai! We booked this trip over a year ago to celebrate my parents 60th birthdays, and now I am officially depressed it is over! We rented a house in Poipu Beach. This place was perfect in every way. Here are the trip highlights:
- Seeing Humpback whales and turtles each day
- Snorkeling! Brock was a pro and we even took him to some deep water that many adults didn't go to. The swimming lessons have paid off!
- Making turtle friends! Whether we were swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding or fishing a turtle was always right by you!
- Boogie boarding - Brock mastered turning and Theo even caught some waves.
- Fishing - Cory caught several small fish but was hoping for the big one!
- Playing in the Ocean - Theo is fearless and would get pounded by waves with a big grin in his face! He really needs to learn to swim!
- Night time frog and gecko hunting
- Hanging at our house and seeing family every day. Arthur, Mama, Pa, Aunt Cathy and Uncle Jim were all there too!

Fun in Lovelock

We went to play with our friends this weekend! We always love the Ranching experience since we are city folk. We stayed at their house and had lots of fun - feeding the lambs, chasing chickens, finding fresh eggs, hiking to a cave, playing and playing. Next time we meet up with them we will be helping with marking again.
