Reading!

Watching Brock learn in Kindergarten has been an absolute joy! I am so proud of my boy. So far this school year: - Brock is reading! - He joined the '100' club at school by counting to 100 - He was recognized as Student of the Week a couple weeks ago! They call it the Friday Call - because they call mom or dad to tell them the good news :) - Here is a quote from his teacher, "I just love the level of excited commitment he has to learning. Isn't it great?" - yes, it is! - He has a sweet best friend named Ray - We are meeting friends in our neighborhood and feel very much a part of the Peavine community which is an awesome school. - We are doing our homework every night and learning so much from Brock's teacher - this woman is as good as they get! We feel so blessed that this transition has gone so smoothly. Oh, and did we mention that Theo too has to do his 'homework' every night and is even 'reading' Brock's books. See the sweet video below. Fun all around!

First rides at the Santa Cruz board walk! Serious jam session at a Wednesday night Capitola beach concert. They danced it up!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to Wemple's pumpkin patch on the way home from the cabin. The farm was beautiful!

Iron Girl

I finished my second sprint triathlon! This one was in Lake Tahoe and I loved it! It was really cold and the altitude was a bit brutal, but we finished none the less. My mom and dad came up to cheer me on and so did Cory and the boys! Not many pictures but a fun day.

Summer Recap

A spring time Wolf Pack ladies basketball game. Theo went on the court to dance at half time, Brock not so into that idea.

We got a new kitten, meet Jake! He is a quirky cat, but we love him. The foam fest was a fun run I did on a COLD spring day, boys loved the foam pit!

Cory's co-worker took them on a fishing trip to Pyramid Lake and they caught some trout! Brock said this was the 'best day of his life'. Pretty exciting to be the net man!

Celebrating the big #3 with lot of friends and about 1,500 ladybugs that I got from the Garden Shop.

A day at the water park. We went with friends so I was able to go down the big slides with Brock - he loved them! Both boys did the slides on thier own and I just waited at the bottom to do the catching. So much fun!

The Great Reno Balloon Races! Our favorite event - four days of balloon fun, including the balloon race party. Our neighbor got this picture of our house one morning and I LOVE it!
