Weekend Fun!

As many of you know, I'm now back at work (part time)! Grandma and Grandpa Coulston are watching Brock while I work. It is such a relief to know he is well taken care of while I'm away. And you should see his smile when he sees Grandma every morning! Oh, and Grandma has quite the smile too! We really cherish the weekends and spending time as a family. Here are a few pictures just lounging around the house.

Water Baby

On Friday we drove down to Carson City to meet our friends Kelly and Owen for a swim class. This was Brock's first experience in the pool and he loved it! His eyes were big the whole time as he took in all the sites and sounds. We also got to meet some new friends. We have now signed up for a swim class here in Reno that starts in April. Brock will be surfing in no time!

Rolling

Brock is starting to really enjoy time on his tummy. He can hold his head up and he looks like he is trying to crawl, however, that darn belly is still on the ground! He has also mastered the tummy to back roll. And is so very close to the back to tummy roll. See how hard he is trying. We will keep you posted!

Super Dad

Brock and Cory love to play together! Dad gets the most laughs out of Brock these days. Notice in the one picture, Cory is holding Brock in the carrier and cooking dinner. Now that is what I call Super Dad!

Friends

Brock is a social butterfly already! He has many friends...Owen, Sianna, Abby and Addison (cousin) to name a few. Oh, and don't forget puppy Al. Brock and Al are the same age. I am very greatful to have such wonderful "mommy" friends to share eating, pooping, and sleeping stories with! We try to get together with friends at least once a week. It is fun to watch these little ones grow together.

Zzzzzz

Well, Brock isn't much of a sleeper, but he sure is cute when he does! We are now getting some sleep at night. Brock only gets up a couple times to eat. This feels like a dream come true, given his habit of getting up at all hours of the night for the first couple months. During the day he takes short cat naps here and there.

Play Time!

Brock loves play time! He can grab and hit the toys on his jungle gym now! He also loves to talk and sounds as though he has something really important to say! He has also had several fits of laughter, a first that made mom cry!

Future UNR Fan!

We took Brock to his very first UNR basketball game. The Wolf Pack won in the final seconds! Brock's friend Owen and his parents Kelly and Micah came along even though they are die hard Aggie fans!

Bath Time

Brock loves the water...not suprising given the long history of surfing, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, etc. in his family! Every night Brock gets a bath or shower and he enjoys them equally.

Family and Friends

Many of our friends and family members have crossed many miles to meet Brock! Of course he was worth the trip! Here our a few pictures from these special visits.
