We just got back from a fun Spring Break visiting family and Legoland!
Playing at the Carlsbad beach a few blocks from our hotel. It was a little chilly, but still a huge improvment from the snow we had in Reno.
Lego creations, rides, lego building, playgrounds, star wars, aquarium...yup, Legoland is little boy heaven! I kept my expectations low for how long our day would last, but both boys did fantastic and we were there from 9:30am to 4:30pm! Mommy and Daddy were ready for happy hour and the pool when the day was done :) We spent a couple more nights at the hotel just swimming and playing. I must have been all pictured out after legoland, because I failed to take pics of much else the rest of the trip.
Digging for fossils.
Duplo Land
Brock got his driver's license!
Star Wars!
We were really suprised at how adventurous Brock was with the rides. I was stressed when he was in line for this one until I realized they had a slower setting for little guys. He was disappointed 'Mom, I didn't even go upside down' :) Then the roller coaster thrilled him. He only wanted to go once, but at the end of the day he said it was his favorite. On the ride home he was talking about it, 'My whole body was just shivering'
Theo found 'his friends'.
Brock could have spent all day in this room. They could build and race cars. The track timed the cars...pretty fun. Wouldn't it be nice to live in Theo's world - after every race he would raise his hands in victory and shout, 'I winned!'.
Next stop...the legoland sea life aquarium...are you tired yet? We were!
Showing off the lego set he picked! Goodbye Legoland!
Next stop, Grandma Daphne's where we spent hours lounging by the pool and chatting :)
Finally, we spent our last night at Aunt Cathy and Jim's house. Cathy took us to a super fun park, unlike any park you will ever find in Reno! We had so much fun visiting everyone - thank you!
