Principal of the Day

Highlight of first grade: Brock Jennings, Principal!  After months of saving base bucks (rewards for being a good student) and passing by many Fridays where he could have spent his bucks, Brock became principal!  He set his goal a long time ago. He wanted to earn enough base bucks to be principal - he needed 80!  With just two weeks left of school he did it!  And here he is, cutest principal ever!  He got to spend the whole day helping our principal - going to classrooms, helping in the office and having a special lunch with him.  He wanted to wear a tie and was having dreams about his big day!  We are so proud of this awesome kiddo we have:) and boy does he look handsome on the very rare occasion that he is dressed up!

Lamb Marking

This has become one of our favorite annual events!  For the last 3 years we have helped our friends who raise lambs with marking.  This year we were in a different area, but another amazingly beautiful gem in the desert!  This year Brock really helped a lot.  He was in charge of marking each lamb with blue paint.  We camped in a tent (ouch) and saw lots of wild life: a rattle snake, a badger with a snake in his mouth (awesome), a huge bull snake, marmots, and a deer.  When we were done with marking we spent the day exploring the ranch and riding dirt bikes.  Theo took off with no training wheels!
Collecting arrowheads!
Giant snake!

Brock put some serious miles on his bike and we followed in the truck :)
