Yesterday was the ribbon cutting ceremony for the VA's New Emergency Room - Built by Cory! It was a very proud moment for all of us and especially him. He was the project manager for this job which has consumed his life for over a year now. The end product - a beautiful, state of the art medical building - VERY IMPRESSIVE! He got many accolades from staff and officials for his impressive work and, of course, they love him because he is just a great guy to work with and know (fairly rare in the construction world I think). Anyways, the ceremony was fun, Governor Gibbons was there along with lots of media. I took many pictures and when I finally snagged the Governor for a picture with Cory and Brock - well you can see the picture for yourself below. I totally blew it!! Anyways, congratulations Cory! Thank you for being the amazing Dad and person that you are!
Trying out the waiting room. Cory, Brock and Gov. Gibbons. I swear it really is them!
12 years in NV - we never would of thought! But when you meet, fall in love, and start a perfect little life somewhere - I guess that's where you stay! At least for now. My how things have changed over the years. We still look at Brock in amazement and confusion - where did he come from? He has blessed our lives more than we could have ever imagined. Now Theo!! Here we go again.
